Minnesota’s Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps eligible working families afford quality child care by subsidizing part of the cost. If you’re a Minnesota parent who is working, in school, or looking for work, you may qualify. What Is CCAP?
CCAP is a state program administered through the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families that helps income-eligible families pay for child care so parents can work, attend school, or search for a job. Most participating families pay a copay based on income; CCAP covers the rest directly to the provider.
Who Is Eligible?
Eligibility depends on several factors, including household income, family size, children’s ages, and a parent’s approved work, school, or job-search activities.
Families generally must:
- Be working, attending an approved education or training program, or looking for employment
- Have a child who meets CCAP age requirements

How to apply
