Summer Fun for Infants, Toddlers & Preschoolers
Our youngest learners enjoy all the benefits of their regular educational program with an extra dose of summer fun. Teachers incorporate seasonal themes, outdoor exploration, hands-on activities, and special events into each day while maintaining the routines and nurturing environment children need to thrive. Throughout the summer, children enjoy:

School-Age Summer Program
When school is out, the adventure begins! Designed for children entering kindergarten through age 12, our School-Age Summer Program offers a balance of structured activities, outdoor play, creative projects, community adventures, and both on-site and off-site field trips. Depending on the location, children may participate in:
- On-site special events and visiting programs
- Parks, playgrounds, and outdoor adventures
- Educational and recreational field trips
- Creative projects and team challenges
- Games, sports, and movement activities
- Collaborative activities with children from other CKA locations
School-age summer programming is offered at Coon Rapids, Elk River, Elk River on 10, Lexington, Maple Grove, and Mounds View. Offerings, schedules, and field trips vary by location. All activities are planned with children’s ages, interests, and safety in mind.
