Our daughter started her care at CKA at 3 months old. It was clear from day one how much she enjoyed and felt cared for. She gives the biggest smile every morning during drop off and while she doesn’t have the words to say it, this is how I know she’s well cared for and that we put our trust in the right place. Of note, when we toured centers in the area, CKA was the one place both teachers and kids were still energized and happy in the afternoon. Additionally, Cassie was the only director that guided us as new parents as to what else to consider when deciding on care — the transparency from the start made it very easy to put our trust here.
My daughter has moved through a couple of the classrooms as she has grown and we couldn’t be happier with the consistency in the excellent quality of care that she has received. She has been learning new ASL words and comes home singing new songs. CKA has numerous events throughout the year and I’ve enjoyed attending ice cream socials with live music, and seeing the bouncy house and petting zoos that get set up for the kids. The staff are super engaged and have hosted roundtables to engage parents and legislators on MN needs for childcare, which is important to me and the community.
Our daughter has attended since she was 2½ years old and will be starting kindergarten soon. It has been THE BEST daycare facility. Not only are they always doing fun things to keep the kids entertained and fulfilled, but she has learned SO much, she is beyond prepared for kindergarten. She has always come home so happy. We can’t thank CKA enough for taking care of our daughter so well!
As an anxious parent, the updates throughout the day and the incredible communication from the teachers give me so much peace of mind. Our girls are learning, growing, and so well cared for—and we feel just as supported as parents.
